Directly overlooking Resurrection Bay in Seward, Alaska, Hotel Edgewater offers you exceptionally beautiful views from many of its rooms. Combined with 76 comfortable rooms and a downtown location, two conference rooms and a friendly staff, Hotel Edgewater offers guests an enjoyable stay in the heart of Kenai Fjords National park.

View Rooms:

Our view rooms consist of partial bay view room with two double beds. They are located on the east side of the hotel with balconies and partial bay views of Resurrection Bay. Another bay view queen room (with one queen size bed) is located on the southeast corner of the hotel with a corner balcony and windows overlooking Resurrection Bay.

We have an optional bay view king room with one king size bed.  They all have balconies with direct views overlooking Resurrection Bay.  We also have our bay view double queen room with two queen size beds.  They all have balconies and look directly south to Resurrection Bay.

Our mini-suite.  It consists of one large room with two queen beds, a loveseat, microwave and small refrigerator.  It does not have a balcony but the window looks to the east toward Resurrection Bay.

Standard Rooms:

We have three different standard rooms, one with two double beds and there are twenty-nine rooms of this type in the hotel. Another option for a standard room is one queen size bed. These rooms are located on the west side of the hotel overlooking downtown Seward and Mt Marathon. We also have a third standard room with two queen size beds.  They are located on the west side of the hotel overlooking downtown Seward and Mt Marathon.

Atrium Rooms:

Our atrium rooms includes two double beds.  These are interior rooms with no windows opening to the exterior of the building. There are frosted windows and a balconys that overlook the three-story atrium lobby with skylights above.

ADA Handicap Rooms:

Our handicap accessible rooms have one king bed and ADA compliant bathrooms all located on the first floor.  These are interior rooms with a frosted window and second entrance door that leads to the lobby.

We do have smoking rooms upon request, otherwise the Hotel Edgewater is smoke free.
